The X-PROX card and PIN keypad has been designed for high traffic locations where one or more doors requires simple access control. It has been manufactured to the highest standards, and is tough, durable, fully weatherproof and equally suited to both indoor and outdoor applications.
The system can be connected to magnetic contact in order to monitor a door; if forced or left open, the unit can be configured to sound an alarm. In addition, the X-PROX can be connected to a Request to Exit (REX) switch, as well as locking devices such as door strikes, solenoid bolts and electromagnetic locks. An optical tamper switch at the rear adds an extra layer of security by sounding an alarm if the unit is removed from the wall.
