About
IC-2000/4000 is a PC based networkable 2/4 door controller that can be used with any GuardPoint Pro version. It offers powerful cost effective solutions for access control and alarm management requirements. The controller is equipped with FLASH firmware to allow simple and cost effective upgrade from a PC making it future proof.The controller has fully-distributed intelligence and event buffering allowing it to make full decisions without depending on the software. The controller is supplied as standard in a complete 3.5 Amps (4.5 Amps for IC-4000) enclosure allowing the installer to power up and control all devices from one professional box.
Application
The IC2000/4000 is ideally suited for applications where cardholders are over and above 10,000 and if the site has a substantial amount of additional monitoring points. Also at that level the IC controllers have the capability to operate in redundancy modes with the use of the 2nd bus option. The IC-2000 is equipped with 4 readers to control 2 doors making it economical for reading in/out enviorments. The IC-4000 offers economical options for controlling 4 doors and 4 readers per panel. Both controllers are ideal for small to medium size installations. Applications include offices, warehouses, schools, hospitals, airports, universities etc. The IC-2000/4000 controllers can then be linked to other controllers in a daisy chain, up to 32 controllers can be wired per loop or unlimited in TCP/IP to finally form a complete PC based access control system.
