About
IC-1000+ is a PC based networkable 2 door / 2 reader controller that can be used with any GuardPoint Pro version. It offers a simple, cost effective solution for access control requirements. The controller is equipped with FLASH firmware to allow simple and cost effective upgrade from a PC making it future proof. The controller has full-distributed intelligence and event buffering allowing it to make full decisions without relying on the software; this would make it reliable solution for access control with mimimal downtimes. The contoller is supplied as standard in a complete 3.5 amps enclosure allowing the installer to power and control all devices from one professional box.
Application
the IC1000+ controller is ideally suited for applications where access control is the domain requirement on site for smaller to medium size installations. Such application does not demand a very high level of technology and is more price sensitive. Applications include offices, warehouses,schools,hospitals,retail etc. Once the customer has made a choice of the reading technologies, up to two readers and electronic locks can be connected to each controller and up to two request to exit buttons and two door contacts. The controller can then be linked to other controllers in a daisy chain. Up to 8 controllers can be wired in a loop or TCP/IP to finally form a complete PC based access control system.
