Alarms

In most access control systems, Alarm Integration rarely extends beyond the simple adding of triggers, such as contacts and
detectors, and outputs, such as bells and sounders. Whilst such functionality is naturally also available with Sensor's range of
controllers, we go one step further in offering complete control over the system by the configuration and use of Alarm Zones.

  Alarm Keypad
Sensor's KP-ALRM product is a powerful new alarm configuration unit, which, when combined with the GuardPoint Pro software,
can be configured to lock off doors, arm and disarm various inputs and manage multiple alarm zones. In addition, the product is
also able to give immediate and accurate feedback as to the satus of any zone to which it is connected.

The Alarm Keypad is also capable of linking to a single or to multiple readers, allowing doors to be shut down when certain zones are armed. This lock-down can be
removed by any cardholder in the software who has been programmed as an authorised user. The total number of these users is limited only by the parameters of
  the GuardPoint Pro software.

The Alarm Keypad can be connected to any of our IC2000 or IC4000 controllers, and used to control any or all of their onboard inputs, and in any configuration.
In addition, extra relays that have been added to the system - such as those provided by the IRLED Extension Board - can also be controlled in the same way.

  GuardPoint Pro
When combined with the full functionality of GuardPoint Pro, highly complex alarm systems can be created, with the Alarm Keypad being able not only to active or
deactivate inputs, but also to trigger certain events within the software, which can themselves be tied to certain reflexes. It would be possible, for example, to have an
authorised user key in their PIN on the Alarm Keypad and activate a certain set of alarms. This would in turn trigger an action to switch certain relays, locking off
several doors. At the same time, a message can be sent to one or more workstations, informing your guards that certain zones are now armed, together with bringing
up an interactive map of the areas covered for them to monitor.
